      It is now almost November and being not the perfect member of Central Piedmont, I finally went to a meeting.  The upcoming convention was discussed as well as possible nominees for our upcoming election of officers. (Anyone willing to volunteer will be gladly considered.)   It is also coming up on our Fuzzy Fun Show season.  The schedule was passed out at the meeting.  The dates are December 11th, January 8th, February 12th, and March 5th.  I know everyone looks forward to them.
    In case anyone is wondering who I am, my name is Diane Garner and I have been a member of Central Piedmont for about three years.  Because of my work schedule, I have not been able to attend many meetings.  Since the meetings are now in different locations and different times, everyone should be able to attend at least one.  Jay asked for a volunteer to write a news letter.  You know that old saying about opening mouth and inserting foot?  In my case I don't think I chewed my whole leg off  because I enjoy writing and this gives me a way to help my club, but I did nibble a little.
    In this news letter, I am hoping to spread all the club gossip as well as inform everyone of upcoming club events.  By gossip, I mean who's mare gave birth to a foal by which stallion and who is winning ribbons at which shows etc.   Anyone having anything they would like to have included in this news letter should contact me with their news.  I am not a difficult person to get in touch with.  I have my e-mail address Dianegarner7@aol.com  , home phone number 704-861-0529, cell phone number 704-460-8576, and I even have a home address 130 Bristol Circle #38, Gastonia, NC 28052  to which you can mail information to me the old-fashioned way.  All members should receive a flyer with my personal info on it so no one should have any reason not to participate in their club.
